SPEARHEAD UNVEILS MEAN, GREEN, CUTTING MACHINES AT AGRITECHNICA

Spearhead has been putting the spotlight on its exciting new products at Agritechnica -unveiling three new series of reach arms at the prestigious show.
The company has completely reinvented its hedge-cutting and verge-mowing equipment in 2011 and marked the expo with the European unveiling of more than a dozen new models, including:
New – Twiga Pro series. Spearhead has extended its flagship range for professional users. The Twiga Pro machines offer the best in precision and performance with high-powered 85hp hydraulics, exceptional arm geometry, and a state-of-the-art feature set.
The series now includes six different models with reach ranging from 5.6 to 8.0 metres – two of which feature a Variable Forward Reach (VFR) option.
New – Twiga Flex series. The most versatile piece of precision equipment the company has ever created. Its innovative Rotorflex system allows operators to cut in any position through 140 degrees; the arm can be mounted at the front, the rear, or for reverse-drive tractors; and offers a total of 24 different positional variations.
New – Twiga series. Designed for contractors, farmers and local authorities, the Twiga series features a variety of models from the lightweight, compact Twiga 130 - which is perfect for managing vegetation and small tree maintenance - to the top-of-the-range 655T model which delivers exceptional reach, robust build quality and powerful 66hp hydraulics.
Also on display at Agritechnica was the Starcut 610 - a new addition to our famous range of rotary mulchers, and the new
Pro-Pilot control system.

Held every two years in Hannover, Germany, Agritechnica attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors and is the world’s largest indoor agricultural show.
