Anti-scalp Discs
Fitted as standard to protect blade pivot bolts and blade carriers on uneven
ground. All blade pivot bolts are completely protected.

Deck Protection Rings
Steel rings protect the underside of the cutting deck when cutting in the roughest
conditions.

Hydra-gas & Walking
Axle
The new Hydra-Gas suspension system (patent applied for) and the walking axle
follows the contours of the land much more effectively and gives you far more control.
In transport the Hydra-Gas system reduces shock loading by nearly half, resulting
in smoother travel.

Hydraulic wing lift
The wings float mechanically during work to eliminate ram seal wear and
are raised by independent single acting hydraulic rams for transport. Mechanical
lift locks are provided for complete safety.

Level Lift
The rotors stay parallel with the ground as the mower is raised and lowered with
the adjustable tension rods linking the drawbar and the wheels. Simple adjustment
compensates for different tractor heights.

Low Cutting
A combination of design features, the anti scalp discs, blade design, the parallel
lift and mechanical float gives a cutting height down to 25mm.

Performance Driveline
The top grade constant velocity joints in the driveline transmit full power even
on tight turns. Proven reliability of the 250hp drive line is reflected in a 2-year
guarantee on gearboxes.

Option All Spearhead flex wing mowers are availale with high or low hitch options.

Safety Chain Screens
The full width chain safety screen encloses the back and the front of the mower
to contain flying objects without restricting the inflow of material to be cut.

Slip Clutch Protection
Each rotor gearbox is protected from shock loads by a special, Bellevillewasher
type, multi plate slip clutch for added durability. (Guards removed for illustration
purposes).

Suction
Each of the 7kg boron steel blades has a ‘high-lift’ tail that creates suction which
will lift virtually any fallen material ensuring superb performance.

Wing Pivots
Maintenance free full-length 'piano hinges' with large diameter pivot rods give
extra strength and reliability.
