the STARCUT300, a premium three-metre cutting width machine targeting farmers and
contract professionals demanding high levels of quality.
Possessing the same high specification as the other newcomers in the range, the
all-shaft drive STARCUT300 can also benefit from Spearhead’s unique new six-blade
cutting system and delta shape design which sets it well apart from comparable machines.
Much of the appeal of this model is the fact that it has been built around the principles
of the larger machines and without compromise so both performance and reliability
are assured as is indicated by the 116 HP gearbox rating. The design mirrors the
innovation of the larger machines in the range and the specification speaks for
itself.
While there may be bigger machines for large-scale applications, few offer the same
high levels of mulching capability at this size or the flexibility with rear and
front-mount operation possible.

Design
|
The STARCUT mulcher series has been carefully designed to form the stylish characteristic
delta shape. This serves a practical purpose in the collection and distribution
of mulched vegetation creating a far more even spread. A totally new streamlined
exterior also speeds up the cleaning down of the machine post operation. Additional
design features include integrated hose routing; unique monocoque deck structure
and clean input for free material flow. Another key development is the ability to
attach additional rear towing.

Designed for crop stubble and grass maintenance
The new MP Series rotor from Spearhead has been specifically designed for mulching
crop stubble and grassland areas. The unique cutting technology greatly reduces
power consumption for maximum efficiency and productivity. Rotors can be tailored
with three or six blade options to suit individual needs.

Six-blade Configuration
The MP6 is the rotor of choice for efficient stubble management solution. All the
benefits of the MP3 are enhanced with the addition of three further mulching knives
doubling its operational capability. The blades are set on two cutting planes to
ensure vegetation is mulched even more finely for accelerated decomposition.
